CCG Profiles is a complex and professional software solution designed for furniture producers and more.
Drawing
With Profiles, constructions with varying levels of complexity can be designed: windows, doors, balcony doors, hanging facades, commercial shop fronts, constructions with unlimited number of wings, sliding constructions, arches, trapezoids etc.
Other features:
adding profiles to an already designed construction, window-sills, changing the opening directions, insect screens, rolling blinds.
defining the opening type of windows: normal, two axial, sliding, with an additional fixing, with a "Volkswagen" mechanism, etc.
automatic calculation and alignment of the glazing;
automatically adding the accessories of a selected Standard.
At every stage of the working process, CCG Profiles allows fast and easy change of the construction parameters: dimensions, roundings, bevels, beams position, width of the wings.
Valuation
Valuation is a stage in the design process which defines the type of the profile and the accessories, hardware, glazing and color of the construction.
Profiles automatically valuates the profiles and accessories, depending on the selected standard or prototype. If profiles and accessories are changed, the program automatically recalculates the physical dimensions of wings and beams.
A great convenience of the program is the ability to work with different profile systems (aluminium, UPVC) at the same time, without reconstructing the modules.
Cutting Scheme
CCG Profiles automatically calculates:
all materials required for the manufacturing process: profiles, accessories, hardware, glazing, etc.;
additional profiles: window-sills, rolling blinds, insect screens;
length of the arc and bending radius of arches, cutting angles of bevels;
cost of additional materials: foam, dowels, etc.
It is possible to change the accessories and hardware after the order has been calculated.
Optimization
Profiles has a built-in module for optimization of the rod cutting scheme. The software optimizes the cutting of linear materials (with pre-determined rod length, cutting width, minimal length of leftover material needed for the next use), and exports the results of the optimization process to automated circular-saws.
Optimization reduces the scrap to minimal values (often under 1%).
Stock
Profiles has a built-in Stock module with a nomenclature of profiles and accessories, which allows easier tracking of the available products, quantities of materials, materials reached a critical quantity, etc.
During the optimization of the rod cutting scheme, CCG Profiles generates storage documents utilizing all the materials required for the order and also documents on the bars, that have been left after the optimization.
Scheme and Bill of Materials
The software generates a .doc (Word, OpenOffice) format document for the workshop. It contains the schemes of the offer modules and all of the materials, needed for the manufacturing process, including a detailed description of profiles dimensions, cutting angles, hardware, etc.
Reports
CCG Profiles generates a wide range of reports, including: cost price, specification, Bill Of Materials, cutting scheme, glass-packs, arcs, hardware, accessories, etc.
The user may choose any of the offers and modules, and combinations of them, needed to be included in reports.
The software exports the reports to the most popular formats (Word, Excel, OpenOffice).
Pricing
As every company has a different pricing policy, CCG Profiles uses various formulae to calculate the costing, depending on each company's pricing practice. These formulae include additional capabilities to calculate:
Discounts for a particular module or the entire order;
Services - delivery, installation, etc.
Cost of additional materials - foam, dubels, etc.
Various currencies and rates of exchange;
The price of an order when different profile systems are used.
Defining groups allows for a price change (either by per cent or cost) of every item within a group at once.
Offering
CCG Profiles automatically generates an offer for the customer, calculating the price using pre-defined formula. Changing the formula automatically leads to price recalculation. Additional costs for services can be included (delivery, installation, etc.) or price discount for a particular module, or the entire order.
The offer can be customized according to company and customer data and other information (a company logo, additional attributes, etc.).
Profiles exports offers to a .doc (Word, OpenOffice) file with possibilities for further formatting.
Databases
CCG Profiles works with all systems aluminium, PVC, timber profiles, and has no limits to its scope in the use of databases. The software has in-built sample databases of some profile systems (Altest, Blick, Etem, Europa, Exalco, Kommerling, Profilink, Thyssen, Trocal, Veka, Winhouse, etc.) provided by Bulgarian manufacturers/suppliers. With Profiles Full Edition every user can create and maintain databases of profiles and accessories, with a description of the physical dimensions of profiles; prices, currencies; scrap; databases of glasses and glazings. There are options for:
creating a common database, which contains profiles of different systems;
combining two databases/adding profiles and accessories from one database to another.
Each time, a profile is changed, the program automatically recalculates the physical dimensions of the construction.
Standards
Profiles allows each user to create and use combinations of profiles and accessories needed for a particular construction – named Standards. Each Standard may contain different kinds of objects – a frame, single/double door, single/double/multi-winged window, beam, etc. For every object of the Standard the following should be defined
type of the profiles;
the accessories which are added to the object;
specific settings – overlaps, adjustments to the length, size of the set, angles of jointings, etc.
Using standards is a common method of working with the Profiles software, that facilitates valuation and reduces the probability of user errors.
Settings
Settings and restrictions for the work with Profiles are included in the separate programming module - Admin. They allow the users to:
select a working language (Bulgarian, Russian, English, German, Serbian, Croatian, Romanian, Arabic) or translate the software texts into other languages.
select a database system, archive database, stock documents and offers;
create a password to restrict user's rights for editing databases, formulae, the store nomenclatures, etc;
select export to automatic circular-saws (KABAN, ELUMATEC, MURAT and others);
select a printer for printing labels, etc.
Import/Export
Export documents in .doc, .xls, .dxf. formats;
Export the results of the optimization to twin-head saws;
Export the cutting scheme of the glazing to cutting off machines.
Import of data (profiles, accessories, standards, hardware) from one database to another.
Custom data export to external programs at the user's request.
Export/Import data to and from remote offices.
